1. I've had great success while eating in a defecit and lifting heavy with low rep training. Never more than 5 reps and longer rest periods. A minimal style of training like dan john's easy strength for fat loss. You can get stronger by getting better at the big lifts while also losing body fat.

  2. Over 49..your tired.. Just cause you are… Lol…
    But ive been weight training for almost 30 years. Right thru my child rearing years every day. Don't really think I missed a day. Maybe 1 or 2 in a year maybe.
    Just be consistent. I just push on.
    It's lifestyle lifetime essential movement for me as a disabled person.
    Give no excuses is my motto.
